Inoshishi (Wild Boar, Sus scrofa )

We took a picutre of the wild boars that have been hanging around Kobe. I am told that this is pretty rare for the pigs to come down the river into town, but I have seen them each time I have been here. You can see two big pigs and two babies. My theory is that the school kids feed the pigs the stuff they don`t want from their lunch box. The city of Kobe has been trying to capture the animals and take them back to the country, but they have been unsuccessful.
